The heater blower motor is no longer available! RoversNorth/DAP/dealers don't have the original motor anymore. The entire assembly ($540 one) is also NLA. Apparently LR has stopped production/importation. WTF? Doesn't the 94RR use the same piece? It's less than 10 years old?? I can't belive it, it must be one of the more common failure items, why would they stop making something that's gotta be making money. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! |

Contact some vendors in England for the heater unit. The motor itself is impossible to find...I already went this route. try doing a search on google for England/Europe. Good luck. Ali still w/o a blower motor |

I am having some problems and not sure if it is the switch or the motor. Is the motor serviceable or is it sealed? Any cross references? |

Motors are not worth repairing. On a lot of vehicles the resistor under the bonnet is the problem. I would try that first. It is like $35 from AB. If you need the fan, which i did I went to www.car-parts.com and did a search and found a bunch of them listed. I paid $80 with shipping for mine. It is a pain in the ass to do. It took me like 12 hours to do the job. Basically the whole dash has to come out to get to it. there is more info at www.rangerover.net. |
