Need help with A/D/S Stereo, '92 RR

Currently I only have audio from the back speakers. When I pulled out the head unit to check the connections, I found 4 more factory speaker leads pushed to the side... 8 speaker leads total. Being that only 4 can be plugged into the stereo head unit, what's up with the other 4? Am I missing something here? Appreciate any input on the matter.
