I'm almost afraid to ask, but does anyone have a good cup holder option for the Classics? Seems like such a small thing, but the wife would like someplace to set her drink and I'm happy to oblige. Figured somebody might have a good idea. Thanks. |

I used a dual cup holder from Tuffy. I was putting one of their cubby boxes into the series truck, and got an extra cup holder. I screwed it to the backside of the RRC cubby, lowered it a bit so the lid would not crash into the cups. Painted it a dark brown, looks stock. DW |

Those are cupholders from a Mercedes, I think you can get them cheaper on the web. Try GermanStar.com

David- I'm not sure where I had seen it, but I saw someone with the new Disco cup holders in thier classic...so that's what I did. It worked out pretty well. You just have to go to the hardware store and get longer screws. Also it obvioulsy doesn't sit flush to the console but I haven't had any problems yet. -Ash |

Thanks all. I don't want to loose too much width along the trans tunnel so I think a folding one is my best bet. the Disco ones will be banging my leg all the time I suspect. Thanks for all the info! |

I installed one of those foldup type cup holders on each door. Works out well for everyone but the driver due to the left knee wanting to lean on the drinks! They foldup out of the way nicely. If you do install these types of cup holders, cycle the front seats as far forward as possible to make sure you have clearance. Ali |

I have the disco II cup holders and love them. I am 6 1 and I never hit my knee on them. I put mine in straight though the picture above shows them leaning. That drove me crazy, so I used some plastic shimms to straighten it out. It also makes a great cell phone holder, coin tray, and everything else. They will hold a small can or a larger coffee mug. Just my opinion I am glad I spent the $70. |
