How do you know when it's time to change your plugs and wires. I went to the dealer today, and they said a misfire code was coming up. Any ideas???? 95 4.0RR |

In your post in a different thread, you say the dealer advised you to change the plugs and wires, do you know when they were last replaced? Plugs and wires are easy and relatively cheap to replace, if any doubt about when they were last changed then replace them. I have 8mm magnecor wires in both my rovers and they are great. As for plugs I have been using champion truck plugs for years with no problems, others might have some other suggestions. Plugs and wires will run you under $100 and you can do it yourself real easily. Don't forget to put some anti-seize on the plug threads and dielectric grease in the plug boots. http://www.roverconnection.com/Plaza/rcmag.htm |

Run some LRNA fuel conditioner through and go with the Magnacore wires, Champion or NGK plugs. |
