Switch seems good, gets power and lights up when pressed. (tried other switch too). Rear mirrors defrost seems to work (are they tied together?), but no power at the rear defroster. Any ideas? Thanks!

On older Rovers the power to the defogger grid passes through a radio antenna amp in the headliner. Check that. The most common issue is breakage of the wires from the defogger into the body, often inside the black plastic C pieces that carry the wire from glass into roof lining |

Thanks for the info. Seems the relay(?) in the radio antenna amp was messed up (would never turn on the power to the defroster). Bypassed it (the amp/relay), and everything seems fine. Radio's reception is OK too.... so I guess it's fixed Raagi |

Where in the headliner is the relay? Do I need to take out the whole thing? |
