Finally got some pics. Here she is after her first bath.

I've already removed those silly side steps which really changed the look... visually taller. Managed to wack myself right between they eyes with a wrench during the process though. ouch. :-(

She'll be getting 265/75-16 (approx. 32") Mud Terrains of some sort come spring. That will give me nearly 10" under the diffs. I'm going to upgrade a few of the steering bits with heavy duty Rockware pieces and add some skid plating as well. Lockers will have to wait until I can afford to upgrade to HD 24-spine axles.

Very nice, now the fun starts with mods. I had those exact same silly sewer grate side steps on my first rover, an 89 RRC. You might want to add at least a front diff guard as one of your first mods, the front diff is one of the most vulnerable points.

Looks great Dave! Have you considered removing the front air dam and driving lights?. I prefer my 1992 without it. Easier access to the front and it would eventually get smashed up anyway. Fun washing in the winter isn't it?

I plan to remove the front valance come spring. I'll just wreck it anyway. I wonder if it's possible to relocate the lights to the top of the bumper?

I didn't realize it was so non-stock. the GDE badge is an addition (obviously) but the wheels are a surprise. I'd gladly trade them for a set of Wolf Steelies if anyone is interested. ;)

I've been looking at Rockware's diff and pinion guards, any opinions?

Winter washing... next time I'll remember to slap a piece of duct tape over each lock. :-)

Ahhh.... duct tape on the locks, I never thought of that. Excellent idea! The thought of frozen locks stopped me from a rinse just this morning.

If you check my profile you will see a pair of Hella 500's mounted on the top of my bumper. It's so easy to drill through the front bumper it's scary. Presently I use my factory dash switch so they are only on with the low beams. At a later date I will put them on an different switch or somehow re-wire it so I can have both the high beams and the 500's running.

Tim: If you want your factory aux dash switch to make your Hella 500's work with high beams, it's very easy to change. There are actually extra leads behind the switch panel. You just have to disconnect and swap plugs. There's also one that will make them be on whenever the parking lights are on, which would make them be on with high & low beams.
