The gas struts on the lift gate of my Range Rover Classic, quickly "died" on the last few days. "Original" replacements are about $75.00, and "Aftermarket" replacements are about $50.00 from a number of the Land Rover specialists. Has anyone found a source (Autozone, Kragen, Pep Boys, etc.), and a part number and manufacturers name that is better priced? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Jim Lupinetti |

I just replaced both of mine from British Pacific. Mine blasted me in the head several times when cold (downward), before the replacement. Now I have to watch the quick rise (upward). Stand back. Happy New Years. |
