we have heavy duty ome lift. what are the cons of adding alloy spacers. .... are there extensive modifications? |

It depends on how much lift you end up getting. Once you get to the three inch mark in lift, you start flirting around with driveshaft issues, and radius/trailing arm issues. Have your springs sagged any? If not, and you are at about 2.5 inches of lift right now, I would not do the spacers until you are ready to buy the parts listed above. Will |

I have a 92 RRC with OME 751 in front and 781 in back with 1" front spacers and 3/4" rear spacers, stock driveshafts, no vibes, no problems. But I have an ARB bumper with winch, rte sliders, and roof rack, so my RR is pretty heavy. For me, no cons and no extensive modifications. |

ya that sounds like the same set up we are runnig right now. all the springs are new with the ome heavy duty rating. so i will go with these spacers then.. thank you |

I used to have 750/764(?) springs and I tried using 1.5" spacers under them. The vehicle behaved very poorly on the hwy. I then tried the same spacers under a set of Rovertym springs, the vehicle behaved more predictably on teh hwy. I have the usual crap (bumpers, winch, sliders, etc) Ali '91RRC |
