Went to get a key made for my latest project (95 RRC). When I bought it, the guy only had one key so I had to have another made. Went all over town to try to find one (so I didn't have to pay super high dealer price). Ended up at Lowes. The matching blank was for a ..... (gulp) KIA.....EEEEEEKKKKK. The only difference was that the point needed to be filed down to be a sharper. Works pretty well so far.......but its still a freakin KIA key.......... |

That's too bad Bob, you can get a RR key blank for $7. You probably spent more time and money than that and whats worse is you ended up with a Kia key, next time post if you need some info on parts. http://www.atlanticbritish.com/ProductList.asp?Category=%7EALL%7E&Vehicle=RC&Per Page=1&ListType=DETAIL&PartNumber=MUC2153G http://www.roverconnection.com/Disco%20Acc%20Pix/rckeyblank.htm |

Key cost was $ 1.29 plus it doesn't have the "plastic thingy" on it. Much more convenient when cramming it into my pocket.... |
