A couple days ago in the rain my abs and traction control lights came on when i started my car. after a while it went away, but then today after i went over a curb (not large) bc i wasnt patient enough to let the person behind me get out of the way, and bc i can. the ABS and traction control light came on away and so im wondering if the sensor is loose. Where is the sensor located? how can i check it? any ideas? thanks, robert

It certainly could be a sensor problem.

Unfortunately it won't just be 'a' sensor, there is one on each wheel. If you know someone with autologic, etc, they should be able to read the computer and let you know which wheel.

Otherwise, you have to check each wheel. I think. Anyone know any different?

Crawl under car and behind each wheel there will be a wire going into the hub. This is the ABS sensor, check for looseness by wiggly the sensor and make sure they are snug by pushing down on them. If the problem persists, you may have to bring it in to check the codes.

Rovacom will read the faults/codes.
