OK, I am getting more serious about swapping out the BW. If I use a later 1995-1999 Disco LT230 I understand I need to change the output shaft on the zf (1993 RR) to the later FTC5090. How hard is this to do with the trans still in the car? Thanks! |

Easy - one bolt on end of output shaft and it slips right off. New one goes on just as easily. Bill |

Thanks Bill. Any seal to worry about or just reinsert the new shaft? |

Oil seal in tailshaft should be fine. It is not disturbed really when you remove outputshaft. Bill |
