I am in the process of replacing some of the EAS parts(Compressor, Valve block, and Air springs). Once I get these parts installed do I need to have the EAS Fault code cleared? Also, are there any tricks in replacing any of the parts I mentioned? Thanks a lot. |

Yes, I believe you need to have a service center with Testbook reset, but you can always install and see if the codes clear. Try posting on the RoversNorth bulletin board. On my Classic, the air springs were very easy to remove and potentially replace. Just lever slightly on the clips that hold the spring bases to the axle/frame, remove them, and let the spring drop out. You can depressurize each wheel one at a time for safety by pulling out the connection at the valve block or at the spring. (I would still place jackstands at the 4 corners). You'll get a temporary woosh. Don't force the brass fittings on the air line connections. Press down on them with enough strength to move them down and pull the air line out. The air lines are sometimes stuck slightly, not the brass fittings. On the Classic I removed the entire mounting of the valve block and compressor. There is one big multi-plug connecting to the wiring harness (that was inside the box). It seems to me removing the entire assembly might make the component replacement easier. The air lines are color coded for reassembly. |

Andrew, I have a set of four brand new airbags, and a compressor - I bought them for mine and decided to stick with a coil over replacement so I need to sell them. Are you interested? |

Sorry Sean but I already have those parts. I'm still trying to track down a valve block though. Thanks a lot for the offer though. |
