Seth, The ABS controls your ETC system so usually if the fault is with the ABS, your ETC light will come on - at least it did with my '93RR. The easiest problem for a fix is one of the sensors has unseated itself. So check each sensor and make sure it is inserted fully. If that doesn't work, it could be a faulty sensor and that is when I go to a mechanic to determine which one it is. And yes, the sensors could work one day and fail the next so don't be surprised if it is indeed a bad sensor. Eventually I ended up with all new sensors over the course of ownership with mine. Good luck. Jaime |

Seth, Go to www.roversnorth.com and on the right just below the coffee can is a link to the ABS fault codes. It will describe how to read and what the faults are. Jaime is right that it is probably a sensor, but this will save you time in pinpointing exactly what the problem is. Good luck to you. Darren |

Do I need a special plug for the ABS blinking light check? The rovers north sight doesn't specify which side to remove the trim. I removed the trim from the right side and it looked nothing like the pic. Where exactly are these ABS sensors located? Thanks for the help you all... Seth |

Depending on which sensor that sounds about right. Did you try re-seating it like what Jamie mentioned? |
