While I'm driving, the doors will start locking/unlocking themselves. This even happens with the keys out of the car. Minus the possibility of a ghost, what the hell could this be? I hope it's not an indication that one of the ECU's are going out

Check your charging system and battery. I'm not sure about the "while driving" issue, but I know they do have issues when the truck is parked and the battery is low. Make sure you have a decent battery. Those trucks use a larger battery than most others it's size. Most unknowing shops would install a standard group 34 battery, when infact they need a 29H.
It's fun when you're up at the shop, all by yourself, late at night, working on something in the quiet and you hear the locks on a truck across the shop start wigging out. It kind of freaks you out the first couple of times.

Peace.

Bad door lock actuator. Now have fun figuring out which one it is.

Is there any way to test the actuator?
