Has anyone done or know if you could fit some 5", 6", or even some 6"X9"s in the place of the two rear factory 4"s...modifications made of course. |

I put in 5.25"s in the back of mine. All i had to do was make the hole a little larger and make some minor changes in mounting. |

I am in the process of re-doing my stereo system because When I bought the truck it didn't have a radio. But with modification you can easily put some 5.25's" or 6"in the head liner. 6x9's are a little more bit more diffcult to install because of their depth. Allow me to make a speaker suggetion if your interested Rockford Fosgate makes a very well built speaker. I would also try to get a component set of speakers so you get fuller sound out of them. This concludes my current statment Bob |

I have Blaupunkt PCx 693 6x9's. It's hard to find a 6x9 that is not too deep or too big of a magnet so you're stuck with cheap ones. If you could fit a quality 6" speaker that would work (like say MB Quart, etc.) that's what I would go for. |
