Jack, just some helpful feedback about that page..

It's crazy brutal to load even on DSL. You should redo it in FrontPage or some other real html software and thumbnail the pictures. Dont use Word, its brutal on the real web use. Not bad for local presentation when you need html, but for the web, very bad.

Jack,
Yeah, I clicked the page and came back 10 min later. It doesn't even scroll well when loaded. That's probabally why no one has responded to this post. Too frustration to see the page.

However so, I may have a friend emailing you soon as he will be modifying his p38 soon.

Hey Jack,

Great pictures!

I don't understand why others are having problems loading the page. It did take longer than other pages, but I timed it @ only 3 minutes and 18 seconds. And yes that was EVERY picture and no I am not running T1 or something like that, just DSL.

I particularly like the fact that your sliders can completely support the weight of the truck without touching the body. I also think its cool that the sliders on your truck are obviously (by the scratches) trail tested.

Good job!

Peace.

Just because I can build good hardware for a Rover doesn't mean I can build a good website. Thanks for the hints. I've thumbnailed the pictures now, and it should be much faster!!!

If you are interested in a set up brackets only, let me know. They can be shipped much easier than the complete slider. The tube can be fabricated locally with the brackets in hand.

Enjoy,

Jack

Hey Guys,

Any one have an opionion on mounting sliders to the body work instead of the frame? Obviously, the frame makes for a solid foundation. I'm just looking to play this up a bit. I took the plastic moulding off the other week and I've been tempted enough to go and buy some material to do this sort of a solution. All points welcome.
