Dash Light Switch / Heated Seats

Author Message   Luke (Agro1) New Member Username: Agro1 Post Number: 5 Registered: 02-2004 Posted on Friday, March 12, 2004 - 12:12 pm:    First - The push button light switch for the rear lights on my 98 4.0 is working fine, but the amber bulb behind it is out. This is the switch next to the fog lamps. I've searched the forum and it seems you just need to replace the bulb, is this correct ? If so, does the switch just pop out. Also, where can I get a new bulb (part number?) ? Second - My heated seats seem to be on the way out, which from what I've read, seems to be a common prob. They take a looooong time to heat up if at all... I can't however, find a DIY fix for the 4.0/4.6 models, only the Classic. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to fix them and what parts are needed ??   Luke (Agro1) New Member Username: Agro1 Post Number: 8 Registered: 02-2004 Posted on Monday, March 15, 2004 - 12:37 pm:    I was told to replace the bulb behind the switch you have to remove the upper center console section and radio. Is this true ??
