Hi folks, I bought a trailer wiring kit on Ebay for my '00 4.6 HSE. I was hoping to install it this weekend but half the stuff was missing- has anyone here installed a Draw-tite kit #18130? I was hoping there'd just be a plug at each end, but there isn't- the trailer end is okay, but just a whole load of colored wires on the Range rover end. I should've bought one from Atlantic British! Anyone installed such a kit? Cheers, Paul. |

Paul - I bit the bullet and bought the 4.0/4.6 specific kit from AB. I don't have any experience doing the Drawtite kit, but I personally would be very wary of splicing anything not specifically designed for the 4.0/4.6 into that complex electrical system. Good luck whatever you choose to do, and let us know how it works out! |

Mr. Pugsly, Dang, I was thinking the same. I figured it was crazy to pay $120 for a box with 2 plugs attached-guess now I'm going to have to pay $220 for the same thing. Maybe I'll sell the other one on Ebay... Cheers, Paul. |
