Hello ALL!! I am looking @ trading the Disco for a 2001 HSE Range. The owner is claiming that it is a 30th Edition Special Vehicle? Anyone have any info about this year? I thought that LRNA only did a 50th edition?? The seller is asking over the KBB and the Edmunds retail due to the 30th year? It does have the OnBoard Navigation, and the green pipping on the interior. I have done some research but unable to find any info on the 30 th edition. Any info would be great !! The color of the Range is Wimbledon Green. Thank you in advance.

KAY: Thanks .. http://www.rangerovers.net I already searched this site DRY!! No luck.. Maybe I will just call LR customer service and see what I can find out! I have already been taken once by the 50th Edition Disco 1998 ..So being naive is not an option !! As always thanks for the response.

There was a 30th Aniv Range Rover. They came with Nav, premium sound system, piped leather, painted mirrors and painted bumpers.
There should be a badge on the lower tailgate indicating 30th Aniv. But you can buy the badge at any dealer.
If you get me the vin, I can verify it's a 30th.

Melissa, that is legit. It is SUCH a nice model, too. In my opinion, one of the most beautiful editions rover put out.

There was indeed a 30th anniversary edition model. This sounds like one. Wimbledon green, painted bumpers, green carpeting and piping on the leather. A tad flashy at first but pretty sharp once you sit in one for a few minutes. You said the seller was asking $2000 over retail? That sounds high. LR special editions rarely are ever "special," they usually differ from normal models in trim details. The only unique one I can think of is the Callaway range rover, which had special exhaust, air intakes, and several other performance enhancements which really didn't do much to help performce. Even the callaway doesn't really command any sort of significant premium over a stock Rangie. I would try and haggle down the price a little unless the rover is PERFECT with super low miles.
