Thanks. Steve, do you notice a large difference between the 245/75 and the 215/85 on road? Thanks, Dave

Actually, that's not my truck - it's Han Chung's, I just happened to remember that he had 215/85s.

My advice is to get the 245/75's. I have 215/85 Dunlop R/Ts on my classic. I have a good deal of play in the wheel once I get above 60 mph. Around 75mph things get somewhat scary. Otherwise I like the tires. If you'd like more photos of the tires let me know.

Here's my RRC on 245/75-16's... rides great and the speedo is dead-on now. I think it's the perfect size for me right now. 2" OME ME lift and Bilstiens btw.

No wander at highway speeds either.

At the moment I'm running 31 in the front and 41 in the rear. I've tried a couple different methods to determine correct tire pressure. However, I never really came to any solid conclusions as to what is best.

Ian, I'm planning on getting the Dunlop RT's in the 215/85 or 245/75. If you could post a pic of the front or rear of your range rover it would be great. I'm not interested in seeing the height, just the tread width. I like the look of the thinner tire, the extra traction, and being able to keep my stock turning radius, but the downside is highway driving. Don't worry if you don't have the right picture. Thanks, Dave

These are as good as I could do at the moment since we haven't seen much sun the last couple days. The actual tread measures 6.5 inches. Which is actually slightly less than my stock XPCs.

Thanks Ian, They look great. The tread does look a lot thinner than the actual width, but most treads do. Thanks for the photos, there a big help in my decision. Dave

I had 215/85-16 Trac-Edges on my RRLWB. they wore uneveningly and I kept them at the proper tire pressure for the load.

I put a chauk line across the tire in a couple of places. If the tire is properly inflated, the line goes away eveningly. Too much air and the inner part of the line goes away. Too little and the outer goes away more.

eduardo, I don't think so. I was running 225/75 tires which are 29-inch tall on my '93 LWB and had slight rubbing at certain height settings, but nothing major. It would be worse with a 30 to 31-inch tire. You might be able to if you locked the EAS or used only the high profile (remember it lowers above 35 mph). The access or low profile you would probably encounter some problems.

Eduardo, see my post under air suspension max tire. I just installed 215/85 MT on my 95 Classic with Air Suspension and they work great. I have not been at max articulation yet, but on the road they work great so far.
