Anyone know of a NAPA/? replacement bearing part number for a non-serpentine belt idler pulley? Its a 91 RRC. I've looked over at rangerovers.net and searched discoweb but cross-references I have found are for the serpentine belt model years. Mine is starting to complain.

TIA
Mark

If it is the same as the '86 RR, you won't find a replacement. I pulled mine apart and found it was a special - not just in size but also shape. What I did was to machine up a plug to fit the front of the bearing and in this I fitted a grease nipple. I greased the bearing. It made a big difference. It was still there when I sold it.

Thanks Ron. Might try that this weekend. Dealer wants about $90 for the bearing.

I got mine from Atlantic British for about $65.
