how many of you have leaking steering boxes that have been replaced with re-build boxes and the leaking problem has stopped? |

Steve, I have been very happy with my rebuilt "Meridian" box. http://www.meridianautoparts.com/ Their customer service and delivery schedule was excellent also. |

dump a bottle of Lucas steering fluid in first- sealed up my leaky box, as welll as a few others i have suggested this for. |

2 bottles of lucas + other stop leak products and still leaks ........ box to far gone ... with 250,000 miles i got my moneys worth. |

I agree with David, I too have been pleased with the service and quality of my rebuilt "Meridian" box. No leaks after 1yr. BTW - you may also want to replace the steering box hoses, they tend to get soft and leak at their fitting. fergy |

I'm in the lucas fix stage....still leaking, still adding, hoping it will seal up soon. Otherwise it's off to Meridian. |

Have a LR Genuine rebuilt box from RoversNorth. No leaks in over a year since install. |
