I want BIG tires again, and I am willing to cut what ever it takes to fit them. I am not worried about axle strength because the LuckyRover is getting dana 60's front and rear.

But I want to keep it as low as possible, what I want to know is how much you can cut out of the rear fenders? How far into the door can you cut?

Im working on fitting 36 inch on my classic. I cut fenders and installed Dap flares. Used 3 inch springs and 1 inch spacers. Going to go with four inch springs soon.

Jon - your Rover looks good.
I really like "Strange Rovers" set up. The flex he gets is incredible.
If only I had alot of money to devote to my rover...

they are sometimes, you gotta get lucky for that though- but they are so long anyway, that you can just cut one side down and it will ofset them to just about the right length. you gonna do a disk conversion too?
