I need to replace the suspension on my 89 RRC and I was looking for advice from those who know better than I. I am thinking about purchasing OME heavy duty shocks to replace the originals on my Classic (yes I said originals 15 years old). Are these good shocks or would Bilsteins or some other brand be better. The other part is I dont want to make my Classic a monster so I'm not interested in a huge lift just something to make it a bit more capable. I know the Rover Tym springs come in a 2" and 3" lift. How are these springs compared to OME's? Again which springs would you advise me to get, or is there another spring I should look at? I have done a lot of reading but without seeing or having firsthand experience with this aspect of my vehicle I cant make the best decision myself. So I am asking for your help. Anyone with any information that is willing to go over this topic once more, would be greatly appreciated. I just want to make sure I am spending my money in the best manner possible. Thanks for your time. |

I have had better luck with the OMEs - RTE guys are great though - I have great stuff from them!. Just that their springs dont seem to hold up as well as the OMEs. |

Steve's got a new spring mfg, no comparison to the first generations. Give him a call before making a final decision. |
