Have a 96 Disco with 90 thousand, at higher speeds the car won't want to accelerate easily, if position the throttle just so you can slowly accelerate, but if you push the accelerator all the way down you will lose speed as engine looses power. The only thing I have done so far is to change the plugs (bosch platinum + four) and plug wires (magnecor) and I also just ordered a new fuel filter (looks like it has never been changed). I searched and seen this problem posted from many other Disco owners but there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer to the problem, some say fuel filter, fuel pump, pressure regulator, O2 sensor. Can anyone give me the "most likely" cause or an order of which parts to replace first, so I'm not just guessing, or should I take this to the Dealer (hour away) sorry for the long post, thanks in advance for any help
