I just got out of work about 4:15 yesterday and I'm about to turn onto rt22 in Lebanon NJ just outside Clinton when an older D110 (could it have been a Series III 109?) pulls up next to me! I nearly shit. The machine had obviously been offroad, was dirty and not what I would describe as in a pristine condition. It had NJ plates, one of those oval country stickers with a T in it....Tanzania maybe?? It also had what appeared to me to be a Safety Devices rack mounted on the external roll cage, and that looked pretty new. Anyone know who it is? |

I was in a Gold DII lift/RTE bumper - Pennsy plates. It was on Cokesbury Road and I honked and waved and got a wave in return, a memorable moment to be sure! Whered you get service? Definitly a NJ plate though...and I THOUGHT the country sticker was just a T..but maybe.

Not them if they were NJ plates. I'm positive they have VT plates now. And if it was only a wave I would say definitely not. He has been known to run other Rovers off the road just to talk to other owners. Service? Most of my service is done in my driveway. The Disco still has an extended warranty on it so any major issues now go to LR Parsippany. I also know a local Jag mechanic who has an ex-Rover tech working with him which I've used for my 90. I hear there is a shop in Flemmington which has good techs and specialize in Rovers. I have a card at home and will post it this weekend. Any other leads? |

Is the Jag mechanic with the Rover tech by any chance Dave up in Oldwick? If not I'd love both references. I bought at Parsippany and have not had any problems at all there other the the jack-off salesman! LOL They are just too far for me from Easton. I understand they own the rights to putting a dealership in Hunterdon Cnty. |

Rans. I cant find that number. :-| I've recently moved from blue colar Metuchen to the white colar elite of northern Somerset county. I'm pleasantly surprised to say there is a solid base of enthusiasts here. There are a number of Series rigs and 90's in addition to the onslaught of Discos and Rangies. And they actually WAVE BACK at you. There is hope. |
