I would like to get my hands on a DF90 Diesel with a softtop but am having trouble locating one. Does anyone out there have any idea if any companies are bringing them over? Or, if I found one over there what I would need to do to put it on the road here. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

i was talking to a guy yesterday I think he said it would cost around 20k to make the D-90 legal for the road here. Not on top of the initial purchase, paying VAT, and import. You got the money you can get the truck.

on a different note why not just buy a high milage D-90 in good shape and put a 300tdi or the 2.8 powerstroke in it. I know a guy thats doing this now with a 94 soft top. email me.

If you import one from the U.K. by the time you have shipped and converted it to NAS Specifications and EPA/DOT certifications (the certifications that are needed to legally drive and register the vehicle) it will have cost you more than it would to just buy a low mileage NAS D90 here in the States.
