OK heres the short, unelegant version. I just sold my RHD turbo integra (12.1 quarter), i know the whole importing thing (see abover car (grin)) so im interested in getting a Defender after dreaming about them the past three years of college. Anyways i have a 74 Ford Bronco that i bought a while back to satisfy my play in the dirt urges. The thing is though after having a build 351windsor clearing 35s to a paltry 180hp truck with a sg/rovertym stage2ish lift on BFG mud tas for starters. Will i be happy? I just dont want to make a mistake and cry for not getting a supra. Thanks in advance PS I dont commute far, and i dont really drive that often, also do any of you Hardtop owners secrety want a softop. Sorry its waaay to late/early |

Well, as far as interior amenities in your Bronco, it will be a lateral move to a Defender LOL |

Thanks for all of your input. I know the interior might even be a step up, rhino lining and a dash arent exactly elegant and i suppose since i wont have a large and agressive 30 ton vehicle that power shouldnt be as big as a convern, i located a guy here locally that im going to go run some trails with swapping vehicles. Given the terrain here in west tennessee theres no need for anything eccentric suspension wise, but Im sure i go that route soon. As for the integra, I was running 8lbs daily and up to 16 on the track, however traction was more of the limiting factor (CRV block with a civic SI head + Fmax turbo). Thanks again guys i'll let you know my impressions sunday. |
