I bought a D90 this Thanksgiving and it came with the fiberglass top and no soft tops. The belt rail system was installed and the snaps are still there. The questions are what does the front of the tops surry/bimini etc.. attach with? Is there a factory system under my hardtop? Is there a rail sysytem that is removed from the top of the windscreen to place the hardtop? I know have to buy an alpine bow but I would like to have all the parts I need when the top comes off. Any help would be great. Thanks,

There is a grove just under the windsheild roll bar. The soft tops have a piece that fits in that groove all the way across the front, then when you get everything tightended up...Don't know if that helps much. Also I know from taking the soft top off my D-90 it takes a lot of time especially the first few times you do it. The first time i put mine back one it took me and my dad an hour and a half. Its just a lot of snapping and its a tight fit. |
