I am upgrading my 110 from the LT77 trans to the R380. My trans output shaft splines were trashed along with the gear cluster inside the transfer box. The gear cluster has 26 gears and the replacement with the oil holes has 28 gears, hence, it will not fit. I am not aware of LR using a different transfer box just for the NAS 110's. On the back of the transfer box has a sticker that says "1.4 RATIO" and on my wifes 90, it says "1.211 RATIO". I'm looking for a part number of something to help me get the correct intermediate gear cluster with the 26 gears. Any ideas out there?! Any help would be great. |

Well, thanks to a LR mech and a phone call to the UK...All and only NAS 110's had the 1.4 ratio gears in the xfer box as standard. We were able to find a part number and order it. Thanks. |

Hmmm....... who would've thought that the NAS 110 would have different x-box ratios than other 110s.... Interesting..... -L

It's a V8 thing. The 110 would be extra sluggish with a 1.211 high on a V8. I recently put an LT230 in the LWB RRC and had it built with a 1.4 high from a 110. Quite nippy now SC |
