Can I fit a '97 Disco ECU (MKC104620 or ERR7377) into a '97 D90 NAS? That is, without any difference in function.

Anyone know the difference between these two parts?

The ECUs can be interchanged. For best results you should swap the program chips or purchase the lastest version of the D90 EPROM.

The difference is in the programming, which is contained in the chip.

Also note that you cannot swap the ECU unless you have a Testbook or equivalent system to accomplish the security reprogramming. Even though the parts are interchangable they will require programming before they will work. And you will need to program again if you were to refit the ECU back into the Disco
