What can I do with a now, strong running '97 D90 with 100K miles? In the future, as the engine begins it's downward, what are my options on this? Any preventative ideas?

Thanks.

Keep driving it!

:)

Just keep up with the regular maintenence, reasonably frequent oil-changes.... and keep pitching spare pennies aside for when any rainy days ever do show up..... but 'til then, enjoy it!

IMHO, FWIW.....

Nah, you're doomed. Better just let me take it off your hands now and save you the trouble and expenses of keeping the poor thing....

Its definitely a pricey keeper. No Ron..I insist.
You should definitely get rid of it now before you get too attached and buy expensive replacement parts just to keep her running.
