I'm putting the hard top on for the first time this weekend and I would like some advive. I'm aware of the time warnings. I was more interested in what folks use as a sealent. When I took it off there was no sealent to speak of so I'm not sure. There was a weather strip where the top hit the windscreen but that was it. Any advice would help. |

Sean, I don;t know the real answer, but on my hardtop, it looks like they used some type of silicon or other to seam seal the top to the tub of the 90. I would think as long as you have it sufficiently bolted down, I would use some clear or colored silicon to fill in the gaps. That way you can remove the stuff after without hassle. |

Sean My 95 d90 had something like black sticky tack where the roll bar and top meet. no weather stripping I will be putting my top on this week end and will use something just to fill those gaps. direction for putting the top on can be found on d-90.com |
