I'm putting the hard top on for the first time this weekend and I would like some advive. I'm aware of the time warnings. I was more interested in what folks use as a sealent. When I took it off there was no sealent to speak of so I'm not sure. There was a weather strip where the top hit the windscreen but that was it. Any advice would help.

Sean, I don;t know the real answer, but on my hardtop, it looks like they used some type of silicon or other to seam seal the top to the tub of the 90. I would think as long as you have it sufficiently bolted down, I would use some clear or colored silicon to fill in the gaps. That way you can remove the stuff after without hassle.

Sean My 95 d90 had something like black sticky tack where the roll bar and top meet.

no weather stripping

I will be putting my top on this week end and will use something just to fill those gaps.

direction for putting the top on can be found on d-90.com
