There are 'Carlin Brooks' listed in ONLY Tenn and Virginia - look them up in www.anywho.com (took me 2 mins to go through all states), find somebody near him on the list who can front him for the aggrieved, and get some restitution. Works on the Porsche list.

I finally got my changer, after 4 weeks of writing him emails about honesty, integrity and trust. I let him know that in trying economy, that ripping people off is just not right. Two days Later the package arrived.
Plus I really dont appreciate people accusing me of not having any common sense. I know that discoweb does not make any money off transactions. I was just writing to let others know , so that they didnt get ripped off!!

Bryan, I think the 'use common sense' statement was a general statement. I think most here appreciate feedback on dubious individuals selling stuff on this board.

So is Carlin Brooks cleared for now but still someone to stay clear off?

I guess its up to the individual, I dont think that I would order from him again. If he would have communicated better, I would have bought from him again, but poor comm. is bad
