Different ones come equipped in different ways.... not by year, but by what happened to be at hand.

Some people use a U-haul wiring harness, and attach via the hookups inside one of the rear lights. Some Rovers already have a Hella light socket on the back, a big 7-hole thing that doesn't match much... if you go to any auto-parts place or U-haul rental store they should have an adapter that will take the 7-hole to a standard U-haul 4-hole.

There is a genuine 7-to-4 converter, but it's over $20, if not double that.
