Since the "how do I waterproof my gas engine" question pops up quite often, I thought you'd all be interested in a lengthy article in this months LRW about waterproofing.

It isn't really Disco related, but does walk you through the steps (many) required to waterproof a petrol engined Lightweight to ford up to 5 feet and all the parts required.

At least it would give you an idea of how many systems have to be protected (on a non-computer truck!). Anyway, I thought it was a great article. Check it out if you can get the mag.

Scanner is on the fritz right now - but I'll see if I can get it working - I'd send it to Ho, but it would probably be copyright infringement or soemthing stupid like that to put it on the Dweb.

If you posted a scan of the subscription card (both sides), with the article as an example of the "wonderful info available in every edition!", maybe noone would mind. It would be free advertizing for them!
