Blown Jag 4.0 - yeah, I could live with that! (though extended warranty would be a good thought! )

Quote:The new car will come with a vastly superior five-speed automatic gearbox, too, and Land Rover may use the supercharged version of the engine for a high-performance Discovery.

here's my cynical commentary:
The "exclusive shot" showing "an undisguised edition of the new Discovery" looks...just the same as the original DII!
Sounds like things are happening under the hood, though.
And Bill B. - it's always been a Rover, so extended warranty has always been a good thought!
>"Much of the switchgear will be sourced from Ford's new Mondeo"
here we go...raid the parts bin boys!

Hope the jag engine is better than the 4.0. Since the 3.9 the engine is becoming more and more finicky. Damn people just don't know how to sell cars. Take an expedition vehicle and give it a sissy engine. Why don't they just sell reliability in a sweet low reving torquey, run any quality gas package that they had. Leave the sports car shit to the urban crawlers.
