Just wanted to say hi to you all and let you know that I've joined your ranks. I was lucky enough to fall into a sweet deal and bought ARB North America's catalog Disco.
2000 SD with only 13k miles (none offroad.. YET!)

I am transitioning from an Xterra that I pretty much decked out, but it's no Rover! Easy choice I would say!

It has a 2" OME lift, 265/75/16s BFG M/Ts, rear locker and all of the visable goodies.
They didn't get around to installing the front locker but the switch is installed and ready to go. I have the front locker sitting in my garage ready for an install. They are also sending me a new t-case locking switch/lever (new product that's coming) in 2 weeks so I can get rid of the traction control off-road.

All I need now are skids and a stout rear bumper.

Marc, welcome aboard. You should also consider joining us at the Yahoo group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/disco2owners. Sounds like a really nice rig. Check out my gallery as far as a rear bumpers goes. I should have rear bumper w/ sliders ready in a few weeks.

What type of roof rack is that ? Just wondering because I have wanted a roof rack for my D2 but dont want to pay a 1000.00 for it from the dealer.

The roof rack is from ARB. Actually, everything on that truck is from ARB.

looks like mine...but I'm dumping the bumper for a Trekoutfitters...and has a adventure rack, so maybe not really like mine...mines maroon...but it has the snorkel...just a babbling dII owner...cool ride...
