OK so it's not as good as the Moab video. But it doesn't REALLY suck.

It was a rerun.... I like the Icelandic Toyotas that were made for Antarctica...
The CT Rovers were nice, too...

I saw it, too. Really enjoyed seeing all the Rovers and Land Cruisers. Some really nice Defenders and CT DI's.

Icelandic Toyotas were cool. How do you think the heater compares to mine?? HA I bet they have a wood burning stove in the back.

Did anyone else notice the scene with the jeeps moving fast on the flat ground, then they showed an underside view of a vehicle with independent front suspension, then cut back to the jeeps?
The other odd thing was during the baja sequence, they showed a bunch of 2wd trucks. The one they highlighted was FWD, but a bunch of the others were obviously 2WD.

I saw all those. I thought I was the only one who paid that much attention. The whole show talked about how "this terrain would turn a 2wd into scrap metal" but they failed to mention that there are a ton of 2wd classes in those baja races that aren't "scrap metal".
Oh well, those type of shows are for kids and girls anyway. I didn't learn anything, I could have had the same enjoyment watching it on MUTE.

My wife was watching, and kept saying "Well, that's obvious... I thought they'd tell me something that I didn't know." And she doesn't even go wheelin'....
But it's fun to point to the yellow CT Discos and tell the wife "Yep, when you scratch it again, I'm gonna paint it THAT color!"

It was nice to hear that DIESEL sound coming from the rovers! Music to my ears.
Thise old military jeeps can take a damn beating! I was shocked.
I would love one of those Hummers with the machine gun on top. I would love that for those times I am stuck in the car pool lane as the rest of the freeway passes me by!
