Is there anything I should be especially on the look out for before buying an 01 or 02 Disco II that can't be covered under the warranty. I am looking to buy very soon, and didn't know if it was worth paying a dealer to inspect the Disco if it is still under at least two years of warranty. Opinions?
Thanks,
Jason

If you are buying it from a Land Rover dealer it should be "Land Rover Certified" which means that they "should" have already looked it over and fixed anything that wasn't right.

Not all vehicles get "certified". I would look for one that is of course. Take a look at things like wiperblades, tires, brakepads, interior trim, etc... the usual 'wearable' items.

I am not buying from a dealer. I was wondering whether is is worthwhile to take it to a dealer and pay them to inspect a vehicle that still has two year of warranty left on it. I will look around as best I can for the obvious.
