We're heading to Tellico again May 31-June 3 if anybody is interested. The plan is to run trail 2 on Friday -- body damage likely. Saturday will be "slightly" milder. Email me if you want details.

Hey man how mant trucks are going and what trails are you going up i know slickrock and guard rail ar tough and holy crap have you seen #2 lately??? I have a 95 disco and would think tellico would be a wasted trip unless you have a highly modifyed vehicle or just dont care about it.But i guess the more beer you drink the more stuff you try at least in my case...Let me know i would love to come watch and go on some simple trails but i dont have th money to try the harder ones..

We'd love to have you. Right now, we tentatively have at least 5, maybe 10 trucks going. I know, 2's gotten intense, but it'll be fun (side note: we've got a guy with a XJ coming with us that has said he's "not afraid to roll his truck"; needless to say, there's going to be some good-hearted entertainment watching him trying to out do all the rovers). I don't recommend running that trail unless you are HIGHLY modified and have no regards for body damage. Saturday we're going to probably run 5, 7, 9, and 11 (which include guardrail, helicopter pad, and slickrock). If you have rock sliders, a lift, and f&r tow points you can probably run 5 and most of 7. I'd be leary running anything else, but we have plenty of "shotgun" room if you want to tag along.

Tom,
It's on the border of NC and TN about 45 min west of Murphy, NC (19 miles east of Tellico Plains, TN). Check out www.tellico4x4.com -
Gabe,
At least 3 of us are going up on Thursday night --probably be there about midnight. Everyone is camping together. We'll be at Stateline (1st choice) or Spivey Cove campgrounds - both of which are located on Forest Rd 210 (aka Tellico River Rd). We're planning on hitting a local pizza joint in Tellico Plains on Friday evening assuming we're not still on the trail or repairing something. So, if we're not around when you show up, give it a little while - we'll be back. Look for either a white 90ST with CO tags or a white 90 wagon with a full external rollcage.

Gabe,
If you were still planning on coming -- don't. Most everyone bailed and we'll need winches on guardrail, slickrock, and helicopter pad with the expected rain- which only 1 person has-
