Hadaz and I are planning a little trip for this coming Monday (Memorial Day). I'd like to stay near Phoenix to save on travel-to-dirt time. We're thinking about a simple Sycamore Creek trip (Hwy 87 a.k.a. Beeline Highway north to Sugarloaf Mtn. turn-off which is opposite the Four Peaks turn-off). I wonder if there will be any water in the creek? It should cool down to low 100's by Monday.
That is as far as we've gone with the planning - ideas anyone? Hey AZjeeprecovery, here's a chance to get those MT's dirty...

Come on you wimps! 100 degrees is *cold* compared to the past few days! We'll be in a river - so what if it's really a dry wash....you can pretend there's water in there! Here's a couple pictures of the area (with water):
