Can anyone direct me to a couple of Chicago area off road areas? I am looking for light to medium difficulty areas open to the public to learn on.

Daniel -- See the writeup on "Attica" in the trails section - everything from mild to wild. Also contact any dealership to find out when the next off road event they hold for free will be in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. These trails are great for stock trucks. Finally, go to http://qth.com/clrc, home of the Chicago Land Rover club. They hold regular events that stock trucks can run.
