does anyone have any info on these trails that they could pass on to me about these trails...ie difficulty (i have a stock d1 with a good amount of wheelin skills) how much clearence..can my stock clearence do the trick...camping spots, etc etc...also if you know of any other trails in the vicinity that would be good let me know..i would like to go away for the weekend...this weekend..thanks guys and gals

deer valley is a fun trail. check out california jeeper.com they have descriptions of both trails.I think the water may be real deep at fordyce.also pirate4x4.com has some trail reports.

I went through Fordyce Creek trail last year (sept). It's a very tough trail with lockers and body armor a must. Having >32" tires will make you feel better but I had 245 75 16 tires and I scraped and bumped a lot. This was before the RT spring lift! About the only thing that got damaged were the rear quarter panels. I also managed to bent my stock rear trailing arm. RT arms would've been excellent there but oh well.

The creek at that time was around 100 cfs so it's passable w/o any problems. Camping is very nice in that area.
