Dear members of this discussion forum,

I have a Disco 300Tdi 1996 with ABS brakes. These brakes have given me problems for quite some time and maybe someone on this list knows what might be wrong?

Symptoms:
After driving for some time the ABS warning light comes on. ABS is still working.

Sometimes ABS kicks in when it shouldn´t ie at braking but not locking teh wheels.

We had a period of really cold weather (-15---20) and during this period the brakes worked perfectly!

Last week I changed the rear brakepads and since then brakes work perfectly. This is the second time I change the rear brake ppads in this car and the last time it did not help the ABS.

What is going on here? Any ideas?

Thanks,

Peter
