Haynes? others? What's a reasonable price?

I have a Haynes manual which I ordered from Haynes UK and it was shipped to me here in Virginia for less than the base price I've seen it for in a lot of domestic Rover parts dealers. I think it is very well-written and easy to use, but a lot of people trust the official Land Rover Shop Manual, but that sucker's over $100. Chilton doesn't make a repair manual, per se, but it does offer an "owner's" type manual, which really is useless for repair work. The Haynes manual was L19.99 (pounds) with shipping, which at the time, exchanged for about $25.00 USD. It's a hard cover, though, and not like the paperback Haynes manuals sold here in America.

www.4x4connection.com has the LR Discovery Shop manual for about 85 bucks last I checked. It was a bundle deal that included the engine overhaul manual as well. Talk to the owner, I think his name is Bill. I talked to him at the Uwharrie Safari. He had some really good prices on alot of stuff. Hope this helps.
