We were wheeling at Ft. Custer yesterday with 8 trucks.
The first truck went a tad fast into a long nasty mudhole about wheel deep. His engine cut out and we snatched him out of the water. It took a half an hour to dry out the computer so that we could continue.

What can be done to prevent this? Is the computer sealed? It didn't look like it to me. Or is it the connnectors getting wet that stops a truck cold? Can you inject everything with silicone sealant?
Thanks,
Clint

Clint,
I use dielectric grease on all of my connections. One of the Techs at my local LR center told me whenever they touch the ECU, they grease the connections. I too suffered this fate, deeper water however, regardless, after my connections were greased, problems were avoided.

So it's just the connections then?
Not the computer itself?
Do you just put a good squirt into the open connectors and re-assemble, the extra grease just squeezing out?
