My advice would be to stick with rs9000 or the rs5000. My friend has broken both rear shocks (Procomp) off the back of his disco in the last month. I've never had a problem with the 9's.

I followed a Disco once and watched as both rear Procomps broke and fell off the vehicle

Woops, I read the topic wrong. I thought you were comparing 3 different shocks... Procomp, Rancho RS9000, and Rancho RS5000. What I meant to say was to stick with Rancho... sorry for the confusion.

got the ES9000's and haven't had a problem yet.
haven't had a chance to take the RT setup offroad yet (installed them then i'm stuck in Rhode Island for 5 weeks.) i do have to say that the ES9000's seem stiffer than the Bilsteins that i took off. if you look at the specs the ES9000's are similar to the Rancho 5000's except that the ES uses a different sort of gas.

Procomps are very stiff compared to any other shocks I've seen. I'd stick to Ranchos.

I would go with the Rancho 9000's over the 5000's, not much, if any, difference in price depending on where you get them. As for the comparison, sorry I don't have any advice for that.
