I'm looking to add an electronic brake controller for a dual-axle trailer. Can anyone offer details?? Where on the dash can it be mounted and does the wiring have to be routed back to the trailer connector??

This is for a '96 Disco.
Thanks!
Jason.

Jason,

Mount it where you want. If it is like the one in the suburban it should fit right under the dash on the right hand side where some people mount a CB. Yes I belive the wires have to go back to the trailer connector. Use loom and choose wisely where you tie it up along the way (ie exhaust bad).

PS this would nat happen to be a trailer to tow other british cars around would it?

Yep, it's to tow other British Cars!! I'm thinking now to put the brake controller and trailer on my '95 RR LWB(the '96 is my wife's). We're picking up a project '59 Austin-Healey 100/6 on the weekend to add to the '65 Sprite. The driveway is an environmental disaster with all the oil leaks!

Thats who I thought you were.

I met some of the Healey people at the Philadelphia car show and they said you were a rover owner. I need to get a british sports car sooner or later.

Cheers
Ron

PS will do on checking out the club
