i recently bought a used 98 Disco. The warranty is close to running out and I figure I had better get a repair manual. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best manual to get?

I have a '98 Disco also and I bought a Haynes manual directly from Haynes in the UK and only paid about $28 (after converting the exchange rate from dollars to sterling), and that included shipping.

These manuals are going for about $40 in the US before tax (if applicable) and shipping. It seems to cover quite a few things that the shadetree mechanic can do.

Thanks, I'll look into it. It seems that a good manual could help me save a few $!

Don't go cheap....get the real thing. The factory manuals are expensive but worth every penny. The Haynes is a fine manual (I have both) but it is not as complete.
